What is the difference between Blended VS Instructor Led Classroom Training

Blended Training Instructor Led Classroom Training
Type of Training Content is delivered in two modes – online and in the classroom.

  • Online learning may be asynchronous self-paced when learners access interactive videos and lectures prior to attending in-person assessment with an instructor as scheduled. Alternatively, learners may attend synchronous online training via Google Meets or Zoom.
  • Instructor Led Classroom Training where learners complete the practical and assessment as part of in-person classroom training.
Full training in-person, on a face-to-face basis
Who is it for Learners who enjoy the flexibility to learn at their own pace prior to the assessment date Learners seeking individual guidance and those who prefer in-person engagement
Training Outcome Both blended learning and Instructor Led Classroom Training deliver the same learning outcome.

How do I register for the course?

Step 1 – Complete the Course Registration form on each course

Step 2 – Review the Quotation sent through email notification.

Step 3 – Complete the Payment Update process by clicking on the link in the quotation email.

Step 4 – Submit the list of Trainees by clicking on the link sent in the invoice email.

My first aid certification has expired. Can I do the First Aid Refresher course at your centre ?

To renew your certification, you will need to attend a refresher course three months before or after expiry of certificate. If your certification has lapsed more than three months from expiry, you will need to restart the certification process.

What happens if I am unable to attend the training?

What will happen if I fail the theory test?

Learners have three attempts to pass the theory test. Learners who fail in the theory assessment three times will have to retake both the theory and practical assessments.

What will happen if I fail my practical assessment?

Learners have three attempts to pass the practical assessment. Learners who fail in the theory assessment three times will have to retake both the theory and practical assessments.

Can I appeal against the assessor’s decision ?

Learners who do not agree with the Assessor’s decision may appeal formally. Refer to the appeal policy.
